Bank of Jordan, a leading financial institution in Jordan, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized AML Clerk to join our team. As an AML Clerk, you will provide vital support to the bank's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Responsibilities

Assist in the execution of AML processes and procedures, including data entry, record keeping, and document management. Review customer accounts and transactions for potential suspicious activities, and escalate any concerns to the AML team. Perform customer due diligence checks, including verifying customer information and documentation. Conduct investigations and research on customer accounts as directed by the AML team. Assist in the preparation of AML reports and documentation for regulatory filing. Collaborate with internal departments to gather information and support ongoing AML initiatives and projects. Stay updated on AML laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance. Support the AML team in various ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Previous experience in a banking or financial institution is preferred but not required. Knowledge of AML laws and regulations is a plus. Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
