Digital Marketing Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Reports to business development manager and works with marketing team to create engaging content for MDC's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and seeking out new social media ways of connecting with audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Managing company social media channels, including Facebook, edIn, Twitter, Youtube, Viber, Whatsapp and other relevant platforms
    • Manages communications and ensure respond to patient inquiries with high quality, speed, empathy and accuracy
    • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content and management
    • Create daily, weekly, campaign-driven and long-term social media content strategy
    • Managing and updating company website
    • Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company site, and encourages increased traffic to the website
    • Manages google account
    • Updating and managing Google Business company profile
    • Understand and create strategies to increase company visibility on google search (SEO)
    • Managing and updating google maps (and any other significant maps and navigation software)
    • Create and updates a calendar for world health days and other significant national and international days and write contents depending on the day and according to the calendar.
    • Hold regular meeting with marketing team to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy
    • Track, measure and report results; use data to optimize and evolve our social marketing strategies and maintain a consistent system of documented analytic reports
    • Track social media and website activities of competitors and report it on a weekly basis
    • Stay up-to-date with social trends, tools, apps and effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media techniques

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • -Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms policies (Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram etc.).
  • -Creative thinker and self-motivated
  • Quick learner
  • Creative writing skills
  • Ability to work on deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Dependable, reliable, punctual and flexible
  • Working knowledge of SEO
  • Understanding of various social media advertising practices and utilizing tools such as Facebook Business/Ads Manager
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively by adapting quickly to changing priorities
  • Fluent in Kurdish and English, knowledgeable in Arabic language
