IT Specialist Required

  • This position will be based in Al-Muthana plant, six days/week (08:00 to 16:00). Also required to be on 24/7 on-call support

  • Ensure the effective operation and management of the Saman Cement network and communication    environments including items such as network connectivity and devices, Microsoft based Email Systems, data backup, and recovery procedures, Windows domain environment, PABX and associated communication devices, Cisco-based routers, and switches

  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures

  • Monitor servers in Saman Cement plant & office and resolve problems as they occur/escalate as necessary.

  • Maintain a reliable daily system backup in all Saman Cement plant & office.

  • Prepare, maintain and update IT-related inventories.

  • Support IT customers in their effective use of desktop platform services.

  • Track and coordinate helpdesk requests in Saman Cement's locations, through to final resolution and customer acceptance.

  • Coordinate with 3rd party service providers to resolve problems where external support or expertise is required

  • Develop and update documentation for services as requested by the supervisor

  • Be available for after work hours support and the possibility of mobilization to remote Company location to resolve any issues as they occur.

  • Maintain and ensure the security of all Company information available on network storage devices.
