• Job Title: Iraq Program Manager
• Sayara International requires a Program Manager to lead implementation within our growing Iraq portfolio.
• The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of technical delivery including oversight of technical experts, M&E, project-level finances, and communicating with external stakeholders.
• Technical experience in at least one of the technical areas listed below is required.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and manage the project team
• Communicating with the client
• Managing project timeline and activities
• Serving as technical advisor/subject matter expert
• Ensuring timeliness and quality of project deliverables including regular updates to the client, mid-term, and final reports
• Overseeing M&E processes

Technical expertise (at least one required):

• Electoral process reform
• Governance reform
• Civil society engagement and mobilization
• Improving civil-government relations
• Communications capacity-building
• Political engagement of women and minority groups
• Media development

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Government, or other relevant subjects
• At least 7 years’ experience working with donor agencies (preferably UK) in the Middle East (preferably Iraq)
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Program Management role in development programming
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required
• Experience working with the Iraqi government highly desired
• Location: Baghdad or Erbil
