A leading Oil & Gas Company in Basra is looking for a Security Manager to overseeing site security and ensuring the safety of personnel and assets on the Oil & Gas project. The role manages guard operations, access control, journey management, and emergency response, while coordinating with local authorities and monitoring security conditions to support safe and continuous project operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily security operations across the project site and camp areas, ensuring compliance with Oil & Gas security standards in Basra.
• Conduct routine risk assessments, security inspections, and implement mitigation measures.
• Supervise guard force and access-control teams, ensuring proper gate operations, visitor management, and restricted-area controls.
• Control access to restricted zones and conduct intelligence analysis to identify potential threats.
• Plan emergency evacuations and coordinate secure transportation for personnel and clients.
• Submit incident reports regularly and update procedures in line with changing security conditions.
• Coordinate with government, military, police, and local authorities for approvals, inspections, and security clearances.
• Monitor local security updates, road conditions, and emerging risks, providing timely advisories to management.
• Manage journey-management operations, including safe route planning and supervision of staff and client movements.
• Conduct inspections of perimeter fencing, guard posts, lighting, and CCTV, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Liaise with community representatives, tribal leaders, and nearby villages to maintain positive relations. 
• Maintain all security documentation, shift logs, visitor records, escort logs, and incident files.
