Job brief
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment and ongoing support. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also enjoy working with agile methodologies and be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. This is a fully remote role and you are required to be based in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Work with development team, product manager and software architect to ideate software solutions
- Contribute to client-side and server-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design using prepared designs
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
- Write technical documentation
Skills
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Experience developing responsive web applications (mobile-first)
- Familiarity with common stacks and technologies (AWS, cPanel, FTP, SSH, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD)
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML5/ CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
- Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js)
- Knowledge of terminal
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx) and UI/UX design
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
