Aldelia a Specialist Recruitment Consultancy company is looking to fill the role of PROCESS ENGINEER for one of our clients, an international Oil and Gas company, in Basra, Iraq.

Evaluate the plant modification requests involving a wide variety of process elements or problems and recommends appropriate solutions and/or acceptance or rejection of proposed changes as necessary. 

Advises on process engineering activities related to the Company's existing and proposed processes. 

Study various technical problems/facilities and provides expert technical advice as and when requested.

Analyze the various requests of engineering support through supervisor, which may involve one of several technical activities, such as to carry out conceptual design, evaluate consultants design packages, inspect suspected faults on site or to provide simple advice on process matters etc.

EDUCATION

·  A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE

·  A minimum of 10 years of proven working experience in Process Engineering.

·  Experience in process simulations, with working knowledge of process engineering software packages and Knowledge of process related standards.

·  Experience in different process industry, either upstream, downstream, gas plants or with engineering and construction major contractors.

CERTIFICATE

·  Having Training Certifications shall be given preference.

·   Having Project Management Certification such as PMP shall be given preference.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

·  Good knowledge of chemical engineering simulation software.

·  Strong working knowledge of Process simulators, PipeSim, HYSYS, etc.

·  Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office software and Windows Operating system. EXCEL skills required.

COMPETENCIES

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic with professional report writing and presentation skills.
