Diwan Company for Contracting, General Trade and Investment currently implements Cash for Work project in Mosul, Iraq. The Company was established in 1992 to work on different construction projects in Mosul.
The project aims at supporting of returnees, rehabilitating the community infrastructures with cash for work activities and promoting the social cohesion in the Nineveh Governorate, with a focus on West Mosul.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare list of necessary materials for the CFW activities and share with program and logistic;
· Support logistic of CFW procurement process;
· Keep the Site Supervisor informed of the activities, problems and challenges/success;
· Propose possible improvements and proper implementation tools.
· Ensure daily reporting on the activities
· Prepare the pre-survey work.
· Support MEAL on monitoring and analyzing the CFW project;
· Verify and check that the beneficiaries' lists are in with the criteria decided before (vulnerable people). Inform the Line manager if some people are not included on these lists and are vulnerable. Communication with the beneficiaries and the community :
· Participation of the Work proposed with committees
· Working in the field alongside with the CFW technician
· Sensitize the stakeholders before implementation
· Communication with the community leaders, authorities in close coordination with the Liaison Officer
· Ensure necessary materials are present;
· Ensure that the necessary authorization are available
· Ensure daily field presence in implemented areas to check the work & propose a solution to the line manager for the improvement of the project
· Plan the work of the team ;
· Provide the team with technical support.
Qualifications:
· High School Certificate or equivalent or professional experience
· Experience on a similar project, preferably in Mosul
· Technical skills in construction Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
· Capacity to communicate with people
· Good team spirit
· Good knowledge of the area and local customs
