HFH Human for Human  local NGO based in Karbala is seeking qualified applicants for the below post to work within the Basra or Al-Dewaniah: 

Vacant Position: Driver ( 3 persons)

Duration: 11 months with possible extension

Subordinates: Office Manager

Human for Human organization is an Iraqi local organization working in central and south of Iraq. The organization's most specialized field of work is relief programs, capacity building, and development. The organization has received funds from United Nations, international governmental funds and international donor organizations. H4H is focusing on child protection, youth development and economic development.

H4H seeks qualified candidates to fill 2 positions in Basra and 1 position in the Al-Dewaniah office, The staff will be required to work 5 days a week 40 hours

Position Summary

The Post Holder Under the supervision of the Logistician he is in charge of driving vehicles and assisting the logistics team for purchases, maintenance if needed as well as all the movements require by Basra and  Al-Dewaniah office staff. There are occasions where the duty driver will be required to provide additional support during external visits.

Working Hours

The standard schedule is as follows and can be changed at any time according to business needs. Any changes will be communicated one month in advance to ensure adequate time for adjustment or contract end if the duty driver does not wish to continue under the new schedule. The standard schedule is:

Driving from 8:30 to 5:00 Saturday to Thursday

Saturday on call from 08:30 to 21:30

Friday is an off day

Total hours 48h per week

 Key Responsibilities

• Driving vehicle and passenger, safety and security of transported material/equipment.
• Weekly vehicle inspections to ensure the good working order of the vehicle. Alert the Procurement and Logistics Officer in case of technical problems or need of maintenance.
• Minimum of weekly cleaning of the vehicle.
• Complete logbook for all journeys and submitted to the Procurement and Logistics Officer at the end of every month.
• Collecting airport and other parking receipts and submitting a reimbursement request to the Procurement and Logistics Officer at the end of each month.
• Respect the right to privacy of staff.
• Follow all the traffic laws
• Responsibility for driving HFH staff carefully and safely as per HFH driving standards, for meetings or travel within Diwaniyah and Basra, base visits to Karbala, Baghdad. Transporting stock or documents as needed or transporting staff and/or goods to other locations as required.
• Responsibility for keeping vehicles clean, conducting daily and weekly vehicle checks, and managing general vehicle maintenance as per HFH guidelines.
• Work in accordance with HFH policies and Code of Conduct.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Education and experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an international NGO or local NGO in an emergency context.
• Valid Driver’s license with a clean record.
• He has a 4x4 car, a model not less than 2015.
• Good spoken English and Arabic is a must.

ملخصالموقف

صاحب العمل سيكون  تحت إشراف اللوجيستي ، فهو مسؤول عن قيادة السيارة ومساعدة الفريق اللوجستي للمشتريات والصيانة إذا لزم الأمر وكذلك جميع الحركات التي يتطلبها موظفو مكتب البصرة والديوانية. هناك مناسبات حيث سيُطلب من السائق المناوب تقديم دعم إضافي أثناء الزيارات الخارجية.

ساعات العمل

الجدول القياسي هو كما يلي ويمكن تغييره في أي وقت وفقًا لاحتياجات العمل. سيتم الإبلاغ عن أي تغييرات قبل شهر واحد مقدمًا لضمان الوقت الكافي للتعديل أو إنهاء العقد إذا كان السائق المناوب لا يرغب في الاستمرار وفقًا للجدول الزمني الجديد. الجدول القياسي هو:

القيادة من الساعة 8:30 إلى الساعة 5:00 من السبت إلى الخميس

يوم السبت عند الاتصال من الساعة 8:30 صباحًا حتى الساعة 21:30 مساءً

الجمعة هو يوم عطلة

مجموع الساعات 48 ساعة في الأسبوع

المهام الأساسية

• قيادة المركبة والركاب ، وسلامة وأمن المواد / المعدات المنقولة.
• فحوصات أسبوعية للمركبة لضمان عمل جيد للمركبة. تنبيه موظف المشتريات واللوجستيات في حالة وجود مشاكل فنية أو الحاجة إلى الصيانة.
• الحد الأدنى من التنظيف الأسبوعي للسيارة.
• سجل كامل لجميع الرحلات وتقديمه إلى مسؤول المشتريات والخدمات اللوجستية في نهاية كل شهر.
• جمع إيصالات المطار وغيرها من إيصالات وقوف السيارات وتقديم طلب السداد إلى مسؤول المشتريات واللوجستيات في نهاية كل شهر.
• احترام الحق في خصوصية الموظفين.
• اتبع جميع قوانين المرور
• المسؤولية عن قيادة موظفي HFH بعناية وأمان وفقًا لمعايير القيادة الخاصة بـ HFH ، للاجتماعات أو السفر داخل الديوانية والبصرة ، وزيارات القاعدة إلى كربلاء ، بغداد. نقل المخزون أو المستندات حسب الحاجة أو نقل الموظفين و / أو البضائع إلى مواقع أخرى حسب الحاجة.
• المسؤولية عن الحفاظ على نظافة المركبات ، وإجراء فحوصات يومية وأسبوعية للمركبة ، وإدارة الصيانة العامة للمركبة وفقًا لإرشادات HFH.

التعليم و الخبرة

• الحد الأدنى 2 سنوات خبرة في منظمة غير حكومية دولية أو منظمة غير حكومية محلية في سياق الطوارئ.
• رخصة قيادة سارية المفعول مع سجل نظيف.
• لديه سيارة دفع رباعي موديل لايقل عن 2018.
• اللغة العربية  أمر لا بد منه والإنجليزية امر جيد
