Wood is currently looking for Logisitic Cost Control ,Planner  to join our team in Basra, Iraq 6/1 daily work we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra


  • Administration of Daily/Weekly/Monthly finance, purchase orders and service contracts including coordinating change ordersfor in or out of scope
  • Prepares Request for Proposal. Interfaces with affected sections to clarify and ensure that all necessary data hasbeen included
  • Receives contractor responses to requests for proposals, determines each contractor's ability to meet Company and project requirements
  • Advise Logistics Supervisor and Managers on the contractual significance of proposed actions
  •  Be the subject matter expert on the contracts
  • Review changes to the terms and conditions in order to reduce risk exposure
  • Prepares contract documents in support of tender process, ensures that terms and conditions will be appropriate
  • Establishes and maintains accurate tracking records tailored to each contracts
  • Prepare and provide contractually significant communications and notices - None Compliance Report (NCR’s)
  • Review proposals to ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Coordinate with theLogistics Supervisor, Procurement andBusiness Services on contractual terms 
  • Ensure compliance with managementof vital records and relevant correspondence to support reporting, contract audit, claims and litigations, and contract close out, Control Catalogue 
  • Ensures that all cost (expense) incurred is appropriately booked to the respective general ledger account categories (G/L), and accurately allocated or otherwise assigned to the correct cost centers
  • Compiles month-end expense and budget performance summaries within Maximo and reviews with Logistics Supervisor, Managers (Opex/Capex)
  • Develops and maintains Business Unit (B/U) Key Performance Indicators (KPI) (cost, expense, Opex, Capital, others) and regularly reviews performance within the Business Unit
  • Maintains all B/U Policies & Procedures Manuals (P&PMs) with respect to controls (CIMS) and ensures updates are performed with respect to changes including personnel
  • Provides controls awareness training for all Logistics Department personnel
  • Maintains B/U Controls Gap and Closure status database and stewards gap closure activities
  • Performs and assists in the regular review of Logistics and related business Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines with Manager/Supervisors and staff
  • Participates in B/U verification and measurement of process controls performance including periodic self-assessments, Unit Internal Assessments (UIAs) and formal external controls audits
  • Ensures accurate and timely submission of cost accruals and allocations/reversals to accounting department
  • Conducts periodic review of CIMS Control Catalogs and Risk Assessments for applicable activities within the Logistics Department
  • Provides controls guidance including new hire orientation for all Logistics Department employees and core contractor personnel
  • Assist Logistics and Maintenance Supervisors for ordering material
  • Steward weekly meeting on costs to Logistics Supervisors for efficient budget control
  • Responsible to ensure all contractor time sheets are validated
  • Gather and report Logistics  and Reliability KPI’s & Create Dashboard 
  • Perform the administrative supervision and functional application of the Personnel Tracking System (PTS) as necessary to support the business needs of the Company.
  • Capturing, maintaining and communicating key performance indicator metrics 
  • Promote and enable Production Best Practices achievements using KPI’s and regular interface meetings with both key end-user representatives and logistics service providers
  • Performs secretarial duties in assistance to the Logistics Supervisor & Manager and office support activities for Logistics Department employees
  • Maintains Logistics Department office supplies and consumables database and control of inventory including the ordering, receipt, and distribution of such materials within the business unit
  • Coordinates administrative office work flow regarding document processing and timekeeping of personnel
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protection of sensitive documentation
  • Composes correspondence for Logistics Supervisor & Manager Endorsement and signing
  • When required, serves as a scribe during meetings and distributes meeting minutes
  • Performs filing and records management activities including document archiving, registration, and recording. Also manages and updates filing system index and database
