Role & responsibilities Lead and coordinate Civil, Mechanical/Piping, and E&I Quantity Surveyors. Review BOQs, contracts, scope of work, drawings, specifications, and measurement rules. Establish quantity tracking, measurement, and progress-certification procedures. Verify quantities using approved IFC drawings, field measurements, material records, and inspection documents. Review subcontractors monthly progress claims and payment applications. Certify only completed, measurable, and contractually payable work. Prepare measurement sheets, quantity take-offs, progress certificates, and payment recommendations. Reconcile BOQ quantities against IFC, installed, and as-built quantities. Evaluate variations, additional works, new rates, and subcontractor claims. Maintain variation, claim, and quantity-change registers. Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Planning, Cost Control, QA/QC, Contracts, and Procurement teams. Support monthly progress reporting, forecasting, cost reporting, and cash-flow preparation.

Technical Skills Strong knowledge of quantity take-off and construction measurement methods. Ability to interpret IFC drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, layouts, SLDs, MTOs, and specifications. Knowledge of civil, structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works. Experience with lump-sum, remeasurement, unit-rate, and provisional-sum contracts. Knowledge of BOQ preparation and reconciliation. Understanding of weighted-progress measurement and certification principles. Ability to evaluate variations, new rates, additional works, and claims. Familiarity with contracts, subcontract administration, and change management. Strong knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP, cost-control, and document-control systems is desirable.
