Job Summary

• Manage all accounting activities of both financial and management accounting and ensure that the company abides with the set of laws implemented by the law related to taxes and handling financial transactions.

 Main Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the accounting department and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
•  Select, supervise, train, and develop accounting staff.
• Process and reconcile data received from participating banks.
•  Prepare and analyze the monthly financial reports.
•  Set up institution books.
• Review daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare grant monitoring reports.
• Reconcile various company accounts.
•  Assist with the development and maintenance of loan projections and with the pricing of financial services.
• Help prepare budgets.
• Monitor accounts and conduct necessary analysis on those accounts.
• Assist the management in monitoring the financial aspects of the program’s growth including projecting targets and meeting those targets.
• Assist in proposal preparation as needed.
• Provide support during internal and external audits and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address audit findings and recommendations.
• Provide any support needed by management.
•  Understand, know, and follow the institution’s policies and procedures.

 Job Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field (MBA is a plus).     
• 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting and budget administration.                                                                
• Extensive knowledge of accepted standard accounting principles and regulatory requirements applicable for work. 
•  Good Command of English and Arabic Languages.
• Very Good computer and Microsoft Office skills. 
• Skills in researching, compiling, and summarizing statistical data and information.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Honesty, integrity, and a good reputation in the community.
