Min. Education



requirements
Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in law, or related field is required, or
A first-level university degree (bachelor's degree) in combination with an additional 2 years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Min. years of work experience



Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) and 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in criminal law and procedures, judicial system, criminal justice and rule of law. Required skills
High knowledge/experience of legal procedures and court processes, Strong communication skills and ability/experience to engage in substantive legal and technical discussions with public officials and other stakeholders. Monitoring skills/experience, especially ability to remain impartial and objective is a plus. Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc), database packages, and web-based management systems such as ERP."

Desired skills in addition to the competencies covered in the Competencies section



Experience in developing or implementing anti-corruption strategies or projects or participating in related seminar, workshops or training. Expertise in anti-corruption issues or financial crimes. Experience in training of government officials is an asset. Experience with judiciary and justice system is an advantage. Experience in working directly with UN agencies as an advantage.
