Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain our database infrastructure, including Oracle, MariaDB, and MongoDB, to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and data integrity.
• Implement, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard, MariaDB Galera Cluster, and MongoDB replication and disaster recovery solutions.
• Administer Oracle RAC clusters, handling installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance for seamless scalability and fault tolerance.
• Utilize your proficiency in Oracle Vault and other access control tools to manage data protection within the database environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize database performance for all databases, resolving any performance-related issues promptly.
• Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations for all databases while minimizing downtime and ensuring data consistency.
• Monitor and maintain database security for all databases, implementing best practices and staying updated on the latest security trends and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for all databases to safeguard data and minimize potential data loss.
• Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for all databases.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the DBA team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
