World Vision - Iraq Office is looking for a highly qualified and motivated person for the position of *Accountability to Affected Populations Assistant - Ninewa


Purpose of Position:
To support World vision international – Iraq projects portfolio achieve effective and efficient inclusive accountability to affected population through established partnership, office and donor processes, platforms, standards or protocols. The role will interact with children, their families, participants and stakeholders while receiving and recording feedback through established communication channels and respond to project participants and stakeholders' requests including escalation of feedback through respective office processes. The role will achieve objectives mindful of World Visions Safeguarding and Do No Harm and Data Privacy and Protection standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES



Inclusive accountability to affected population and reporting
Support the MEAL officer in managing the accountability input system at the service sites and among the participants/stakeholders in an inclusive way for all groups. Ensure support and management of the help desk / or face to face interactions and receiving and managing project participant inputs. Support design, production and dissemination of project information provision and communication material such as banners and posters among others Follow up complaints and responses from project leads, while keeping participants updated on progress of their inquiries/ cases.

Hot- line calls management/ administration



Systematically record feedback received through established mechanisms/ hotline. Respond to participants/stakeholders in timely and professional manner Share the information of the calls with respective management as per agreed process ensuring sensitive feedback and escalating immediately. Aggregate and share weekly and monthly reports on participants/stakeholders' calls, location, gender etc. Analyze and identify common call themes from participants/stakeholders and provide summary Design and communicate referral procedures to participants/stakeholders for cases/ feedback outside the project scope Be effective in communicating key monitoring messages with participants/stakeholders and stakeholders in the field Assist project team by calling and following up participants/stakeholders missed or no-show cases Collaborate with administration to ensure the bills related to AAP mechanisms/platforms are settled on time.

Coordination



Present in the distribution and service sites to ensure the distribution processes meet the expected standard as per the project objectives Conduct key informant and focus group discussions with participants/stakeholders to understand the problems and issues faced by them Collaborate with M&E Officers to undertake on-site monitoring visits to project interventions to conduct transaction monitoring Contribute towards tracking and reporting project AAP indicators and reporting. Support post implementation monitoring surveys through remote and face-to face engagements. Support in AAP data cleaning, analysis, validation and reporting in collaboration with project teams and sector leads. Participate in partnership AAP calls, working groups and capacity building opportunities.

AAP Information Management



Ensure project documentation is up to date and audit compliant. Analyzed reports are stored in ready to use formats for respective projects on agreed platforms. Perform any other duties as required by the Project Manager or his/her designee.

Safeguarding/Do No Harm



Identify and Refer Safeguarding cases to the safeguarding focal point and agreed office ethics violation reporting processes- Ensure that all SG cases are referred in a confidential way. Analyse and report data disaggregated to filter out/report safeguarding cases.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE



Minimum 2-year experience in working with MEAL and emergency hotlines. Call-center experience will be an added advantage. Social mobilization experience. Work exposure in the development and relief context Experience with data collecting through digital platforms and face to face interactions such as Focus group discussions, remote surveys among others. Previous experience working with NGOs. Ability to work both independently and in a team and adhere to tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Experience creating tools and delivering training preferred. Full adherence to World Vision Child Protection, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies. Strong skills in Microsoft office especially database and MS Excel and reporting writing skills. Ability to cope and work under pressure. Well-organized, self-motivated, solution oriented, independent and ability to work in a team. Self-disciplined with good time management skills. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and detail orientation skills and ability to produce clear written reports

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement:



The position requires ability and willingness to travel up to 60% domestically to project sites.

Language Requirements:



Ability to speak Arabic and Kurdish language.
