We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team in Basra, Iraq. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our company's computer systems and networks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing technical support to our employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
2. Monitor and optimize system performance, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
3. Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring data security and privacy.
4. Plan and implement system upgrades, including hardware and software installations.
5. Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
6. Collaborate with IT team to identify and resolve network issues.
7. Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
8. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
9. Document system configurations and processes.
10. Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator.
2. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
3. Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
4. Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
5. Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and LDAP.
6. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
