Wood is currently recruiting for a Electrical Supervisor ( Iraqi local nationals only) this position, and work pattern is 4 weeks ON X 4 weeks OFF, we can only consider applications from local Iraqi nationals residing in Basra and surrounding areas. The AGUP Phase 1 will restore, upgrade, and develop the current plant (CPF1) including: Restoration of initial CPF1 capacity; building a new export pipeline (24", ~30km); restoration of CPF1 integrity and operability (dated 2008); flaring reduction by Q1/Q2 2026 and released water; development of new flowlines, pads, and electrification network for approximately 30 new wells; debottlenecking of the plant; upgrade of the Safe - Provide technical surveillance and integrity program management in the electrical area. Support operations in the repair of electrical equipment. - Improve reliability of the electrical systems by proactively looking and address potential failure modes - Track key performance indicators on electrical systems reliability - Assist Operations and maintenance with troubleshooting of electrical issues - Monitor electrical system performance - Field visits as required to conduct performance testing and review operating parameters. - Update electrical system load diagrams and perform load studies - Maintain electrical load inventory load bases - Support ALT by assuming leadership role within discipline and generating improvement opportunities - Interface with maintenance, operations and other engineering groups as required to troubleshoot and develop opportunities for continuous improvement - Prepare and give presentations to support findings and recommendations - Conduct risk assessment and root cause failure analysis as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES - Bachelors in Electrical Engineering - 8+ years in oil and gas as an electrical engineer. Engineers with significantly more experienced will be considered for Senior electrical engineer role - Willing to spend time in the plant(s) - Strong Analytical skills - Good Communication skills - Good Arabic / English speaking and writing skill. - Interpersonal skills and Team Work - Good computer skills - Quality conscience with the proper attention to detail
