Responsibilities:
- Determine fixed costs (e.g., salaries, rent and insurance).
- Revise the reserve for obsolete inventory as needed.
- Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
- Update standard costs in the bill of materials.
- Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts and Review and document inventory and material purchases.
- Present cost estimates for new purchases.
- Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding Damaged goods.
- Prepare a list for all inventory by quantity and cost.
- Perform analysis for Standard Recipe cost vs actual Recipe cost.
- Analyze the variance between standard and actual.
- Cash Control and monthly expenses booking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree from a reputable university with a good understanding of accounting principles through education or work experience.
- 2 plus years of experience in a similar position is required for this job.
- Has experience as cost accountant (Preferably in F&B – Restaurants) .
- Trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Strong MS Excel skills, or basic skills with the ability to learn and develop.
- Positive personality that contributes to an overall high energy work culture.
- Eager to learn and develop oneself.
