The Business Development Manager at Zarawa Company will play a key role in driving strategic growth by identifying new clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and having a solid background in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and plan new growth opportunities, strategies, and initiatives.
- Contact potential customers, maintain current customers, and increase customer value.
- Establish business development goals and ensure quotas are met.
- Oversee business development representatives and early sales cycle operations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector to expand the company's client base.
- Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and contracts to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts and services.
- Analyzing the market to find trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the supply chain for oil and gas operations.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Skills
- Iraqi national is required.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the oil and gas supply chain sector.
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry.
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Existing network within Iraq’s oil and gas industry.
- Experience working with multinational oil and gas companies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the oil and gas sector.
