The Senior Architect ensures all architectural requirements for the project are properly coordinated and complied with to
achieve the full intent of the design, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and adhering to
programming requirements.

Understand the project brief and client requirements and reviews the contract documents, project

specifications, design drawings and BOQ, identifies the architectural requirements of the project and

contributes in the feasibility study of the project with the design manager, architects and other

professional parties.

Review the concept design and ensures compliance with the client requirements, budget and all as per

time schedule. Contribute in obtaining on time the approval of client on the concept design, managing

in the project design as directed by the design manager and IMS procedure.

Ensure the deliverables on time for all design stages such as concept, schematic, detailed design and

construction documents and liaises with estimation department that design deliverables are within the

budget.

Set up architectural requirements of the codes, local authorities, safety standards, urban planning,

environment requirement and others to be implemented in the formal agreements/contracts with

consultants, client representative , project management organization and other external bodies.

Conduct value engineering review of the drawings to ensure the best details and construction

methodology with the least cost and time and to follow up on the change orders and proceed with the

required process.

Establish the design criteria with the Architect of record developed in coordination with structural

engineer, MEP engineer, interior designer and end user operation requirements.

Review the design deliverables in all stages such as concept, schematic, detailed design and IFC and

ensures compliance with the client requirements, time schedules, budget and with the authorities

regulations.

Review the design development and ensures technical compliance with standards.

Conduct constructability review for the design documents and provide solution/ alternatives for the

raised issues.

Comprehensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and regulations to lead the design process and ensure compliance with standards.

Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp for conceptualization, drafting, and 3D modeling of architectural designs.

Strong communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts effectively to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

Leadership abilities to oversee and mentor junior architects, coordinate with consultants, and manage project timelines and budgets.

Creativity and innovation to develop unique design solutions that address client needs, enhance functionality, and contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of architectural projects.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
