About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Executive to join our team. This role focuses on acquiring new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, a proactive approach to challenges, and a passion for driving business growth.
What you'll do
Account Acquisition:
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients to expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and customer needs.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction through regular check-ins, support, and issue resolution.
- Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams to address client needs promptly.
Target Achievement:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track and analyze sales metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop action plans and strategies to close sales gaps and maximize revenue.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and finance to align strategies and achieve business goals.
- Work with external partners and vendors to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Business Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities.
- Prepare reports and presentations to inform leadership of market insights and sales performance.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales and business development strategies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to represent the company and generate leads.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to enhance product/service offerings.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or a related role (2+ years preferred).
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to build and nurture client relationships.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in creating business reports.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related software.
RTO:
We follow a hybrid way of working, our Careem Rides colleagues are required to be in the office 3 days per week* (with 2 being remote), access to 30 days per year of 'Work From Anywhere', and unlimited vacation days per year.*Office days requirements may differ depending on your role, team and any Uber office working days during your time with Careem.
