Responsibilities:

• Conduct online psychotherapy sessions.
• Diagnosing Mental Health Disorders: Psychiatrists evaluate patients to determine if they have a mental health disorder, using tools like medical exams, interviews, and psychological tests.
• Developing Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment plans that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both.
• Medication Management: Prescribe and monitor medications to manage mental health conditions.
• Crisis Intervention: Psychiatrists handle emergency situations, such as suicidal or violent behavior.
• Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Support: Provide support to patients online and in person.
• Provide psychosocial support sessions for patients.
• Continuing Education: Staying updated with the latest research and developments in psychiatry.
• Confidentiality: Keep confidentiality of the patient’s records and files.

Skills

• Medical Degree: Completion of medical school and a residency in psychiatry.
• Licensing: Must be licensed to practice medicine and psychiatry.
