We are looking for an EIW Civil Supervisor for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Basrah, IRAQ

Start Date: Apr 2025

Contract Duration: 1 year, renewable

Work status: Rotation 28x28

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Professional Experience (years): 8 years in Oil and Gas projects.


• Experience in similar position (years):3


• Technical skills: previous experience in civil works, early works, roads, camps construction required.


• Level / Diploma: Civil engineering degree or equivalent


• Languages: Fluency in English (speaking and writing); Arabic would be a plus.


• Soft skills: This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety standards.

Missions & Activities

The job holder is responsible to:

• Supervise site construction activities to assess the quality and progress of the work being carried out by contractors and ensure that the work is progressing according to the project schedule and intervene as necessary to address any issues.


• Responsible for planning and coordinating the daily activities of the construction site and align resources with activities.


• Ensure that the quality of the civil works construction performed on site by the contractor and subcontractors complies with contract requirements and ensure they are meeting all project requirements, and comply with all applicable rules, codes and standards, specifically with regards to H3SE requirements.


• Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the progress of the construction works. This includes documenting actual work accomplished, schedule compliance data, and any unscheduled work that impacted scheduled jobs.


• Coordinates with various teams, including contractors and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the construction works are aligned and progressing smoothly.


• Ensures that contractors and subcontractors comply with the company H3SE management system and the accurate implementation of the work permit system and ensures that all significant H3SE incidents are captured and reported into the incident reporting system

Accountabilities

• Responsible for the monitoring and supervision of site day – to – day construction activities.


• Ensuring that all safety protocols and work permit system are followed on the construction site.


• Manage the work force and different resources in the site and align different construction activities.


• Ensure that the construction project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
