Responsibilities:

- Responsible for maintaining and administering the data centers' networks, Server and Storage including but not limited to, the delivery of network planning, design, implementation & optimization services.

- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

- Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.

- Responsible for maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers and virtualization.

- Responsible for capacity, storage planning and database performance.

- Deploy Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities within the systems and configure / add new services as necessary to ensure effective service to end users

- Liaising with the third-party providers, providing services to the SMART OASIS on schedules to undertake the works and supervise them during the implementation process to ensure that quality and timely service are provided.

- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

- Maintain operational configuration or other procedures and document them as per the Smart Oasis standards for future referencing.

- Collaborate with the development team to implement updates, upgrades, and patches to Hosting websites in a timely manner to limit loss of service.

- Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system.

- Documenting any processes which employees need to follow to successfully work within our Computing system.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures, such as firewalls, password policies and intrusion detections systems.

- Configure, enforce, and maintain both logical and physical controls are adhered to as per the SMART OASIS and information security policy.

- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks in the data center.

- Writing comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
