Role Overview
The Sales Support Officer is a pivotal member of both the Outside and Inside Sales teams, offering essential administrative and operational support to enhance overall sales effectiveness. While this role does not involve direct management of a customer portfolio, it plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of sales processes. Additionally, the role includes providing direct support to customers on digitalization matters, facilitating the seamless adoption and effective utilization of digital sales platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports Inside / Outside Sales on a dedicated portfolio of customer.
- Handle quotations requests received by Inside, Outside Sales, or customers.
- Follow-up on quotations sent, expiring, not booked, customers lost and take actions on it.
- Follow up on digitalize customers with phones calls/reminders based on customer qualification priority defined at Group level.
- Support Customers in the utilization of Spot-on.
- Contribute to dispute resolution (if related to quotation) and liaise with Prices& customer care on Freight & DDSM claims.
- Promote CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime products (e-commerce, VAS, intermodal, CEVA…).
- Ensure customer is matching compliance rules at sales stage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and digital sales platforms.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and ability to guide customers through digital processes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate between internal teams and customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting digitalization queries.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
