The Officer – Core Banking Support is responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support of the T24 Core Banking System, ensuring seamless operation across environments including production and testing. The role requires coordination with internal technical and functional teams to support operational tasks, manage system configurations, and assist with continuous improvements that enhance system efficiency and the user experience.
This role serves as a critical point of support for the core banking platform, ensuring system stability, effective troubleshooting, deployment of packages, and timely resolution of issues
- T24 administration and support
- Perform daily administration of the T24 Core Banking platform, including user access, system configuration, and job role management.
- Monitor and execute Close of Business (COB) activities; troubleshoot any failures or performance issues during COB operations.
- Ensure timely deployment of corrections, patches, and packages in both test and production environments, following change management procedures.
- Monitoring & Issue Management
- Conduct regular performance monitoring of core banking services and system components to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Review T24 application logs daily to identify potential issues; escalate critical findings to relevant teams.
- Create and manage support tickets via the T24 support portal; coordinate with vendor support as needed to resolve technical issues.
- Testing & Environment Management
- Prepare and manage test environments from the application layer, ensuring alignment with development and QA needs.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to support functional and regression testing.
- Maintain version control and system integrity across different environments.
- Collaboration & Improvement
- Work closely with Development, QA, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operation and delivery of enhancements.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce recurring issues.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of integration projects, ensuring system stability and performance
- Access & Security Management
- Assign and manage user access and system permissions in line with job roles and internal security policies.
- Periodically review user access rights for compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
