· Ensuring that client contractual QHSE obligations, PSGS’ QHSE policy and procedures are implemented and observed within the project.
· Maintaining the integrity of the ISO Management Systems documentation and ensure all locations within the project have up to date forms, plans, manuals and related documents.
· Maintaining the integrity of documents for other standards
· Maintaining a register of legal requirements to fulfill ISO requirements.
· Establishing QHSE Objectives and targets in consultation with Project Manager and Country QHSE Manager and update them on a regular basis.
· Collating and reporting the monthly QHSE statistics to the management and the client.
· Establishing a training plan/program in consultation with Project Manager.
· Conducting inspection and ensuring that corrective actions are satisfactorily completed.
· Representing PSGS during client QHSE Inspections and audits as directed by the Project Manager/ Country QHSE Manager.
· Controlling and directing the non-Conformity product process and ensuring that report registers for all locations within the project are kept up-to-date.
· Leading and directing the investigations of all incidents/accidents and verifying that the Incident/Accident registers for the project are kept up-to-date.
· Verifying training matrix and records of the Project are kept up-to-date.
· Generating Safety Alerts and other QHSE-related information and ensuring distribution to the locations within the project.
· Advising top management on Emergency Response Procedures and ensuring that regular emergency drills are done and reported.
· Regularly verifying the integrity of the fire equipment/systems in all locations within the project.
· Ensuring PSGS and client Journey Management Plans and Safe Driving Policy are properly implemented.
· Acting as a food safety team leader.
· Performing other duties as directed.
Skills
· Degree in Food Science or a related field
· HACCP Level 3/Food Safety training certificate
· Lead Auditor Training certificate in at least two ISO standards
· At least 5 years QHSE Management experience
· High level computer proficiency
· An effective communicator and ability to communicate at all levels
· Fluent in English, Arabic is an added value
