<h4>Job responsibilities:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Reports to QA/QC Manager.</li>
<li>Review of WPS, PQR, weld maps and witness welder qualifications.</li>
<li>Ensure that material/welding consumables are stored and handled correctly, material traceability is maintained when required, and correct material is used.</li>
<li>Ensure welding machines, baking ovens, and quivers are in serviceable condition and, where required, within the valid calibration period.</li>
<li>Check for the qualification of the welding personnel and the kind of materials being used for the process.</li>
<li>Perform in-process (before, during, after) and final visual inspections.</li>
<li>Review inspection reports (fit-up, final visual).</li>
<li>Review test reports including PWHT chart/records for process output compliance with requirements.</li>
<li>Review daily welding reports.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Mandatory competencies:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Familiar with working knowledge of international codes and standards, specifically ASME and API codes, practices, and specifications associated with all types of welding.</li>
<li>Proven track record in development and implementation of quality management systems to meet recognized international standards.</li>
<li>Fluent in English.</li>
</ul>

<h4>Qualification:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor or diploma in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.</li>
<li>CSWIP 3.2 / PCN Level II / AWS CWI.</li>
<li>Certified Welding Engineer (IWE) preferable.</li>
<li>Member of recognized engineering or quality institute.</li>
<li>ASNT Level II UT, RT, PT, MT (held for a minimum of three years).</li>
<li>NACE / BGAS / ICorr certification.</li>
<li>10 years overall experience.</li>
<li>5 years as certified welding inspector (AWS CWI, CSWIP 3.1 or CSWIP 3.2).</li>
