Role Overview:
The Travel Consultant plays a key role in ensuring seamless travel experiences for clients by managing the end-to-end booking process, from itinerary planning and ticketing to coordination with airlines, hotels, and ground services.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, capable of handling complex travel arrangements efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service to corporate clients, travel arranges, and individual travelers
- Confirming and completing reservations according to internal standards
- Managing client requests, providing an efficient and personalized service which caters to international corporate clients’ needs
- Coordinate and book transportation and accommodation arrangements, including but is not limited to (flights, trains, car rentals and hotels).
- Arrange and ensure all bookings align with client preferences and policies.
- Handle and resolve travel-related issues and emergencies promptly.
- Maintain and update travel itineraries and documentation (invoices, booking conformations, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with clients to confirm details and provide travel support.
- Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulations.
- Manage changes, cancellations, and special requests and handle emergency situations with professionalism
- Stay updated on travel regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Arrange high level business trips with the ability to be adaptive in changing
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in travel coordination, hospitality, or customer service
- Private or professional experience related to organizing travels
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills, both verbal and written (daily work in English)
- Effectiveness in negotiations and decision-making
- Excellent Self-management and good organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and with confidence to create a positive company image
- Initiative and willingness to constantly learn and develop
- Proficiency in travel booking software and tools.
- Ability to handle travel-related issues calmly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of travel policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in GDSs including Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre, with a strong track record of accurate and efficient reservation management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
