Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and driving sales operations within a designated geographic area to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. 

The role includes managing and developing a team of sales representatives or distributors, implementing effective sales strategies, and expanding the customer base.

The Sales Manager ensures excellent relationships with key retailers and distributors. 

This role also involves ensuring product availability, visibility, and performance across all retail outlets.

- Drive primary and secondary sales to meet or exceed assigned targets.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and take corrective action.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales officers, territory sales executives, or distributors' salesmen.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and field coaching.
- Appoint, onboard, and manage distributors in the assigned area.
- Implement trade schemes and promotional activities in coordination with the marketing team.
- Track effectiveness and ROI of local marketing and promotional efforts.
- Maintain strong relationships with key retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Use sales data to derive actionable insights and improve performance.
