Overview
DHL Express Iraq is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security & FFM Manager to join our team in Baghdad. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety, security, and operational efficiency of our facilities and fleet. The successful candidate will oversee security protocols, maintain compliance with global and local standards, and manage facility and fleet operations to support smooth daily business activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all security operations in line with DHL Express global security standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor security policies, emergency response plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Oversee facility management activities to ensure a safe, compliant, and well-maintained working environment.
• Manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance schedules, fuel management, and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Liaise with local authorities, airport and customs security, and other external agencies when required.
• Train and support staff on security procedures, safety practices, and business continuity measures.
• Prepare reports, analysis, and recommendations for senior management.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in security management, facility management, or fleet operations, ideally within logistics, aviation, or multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of security standards, risk management frameworks, and local regulations in Iraq.
• Proven leadership capabilities with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
