Activities:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for rotating equipment.
- Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Support condition monitoring activities (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
- Provide technical expertise during troubleshooting, overhauls, and major repairs.
- Review maintenance procedures, work packs, and job safety analyses (JSAs).
- Ensure compliance with OEM specifications, industry standards (API, ISO), and company procedures.
- Prepare maintenance plans, schedules, and spare parts lists for rotating equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance history, failure reports, and performance data.
- Support the development of equipment criticality assessments and risk-based maintenance strategies.
- Liaise with operations, planning, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production goals.
- Participate in HAZOPs, MOCs, and technical audits.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Provide rotating equipment expertise during facility shutdowns, turnarounds, and brownfield projects.
- Ensure that all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards at West Qurna 1.
- Support the application of WQ1-FOD Policy in relation to the Drug and Alcohol policy, Company Ethics, Award conditions, etc, whilst respecting and protecting the personal rights of subordinates.

Expected:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience specifically in Rotating Equipment Maintenance, preferably in oil & gas and petrochemical sector.
- Certifications in vibration analysis (Category I/II) or RCA Training is a plus.
- Knowledge on the International Standard related to Mechanical, such as API 610, API 617, ANSI B73.1, ISO 5199, ISO 10816, etc.
Skills:
- Language English and Arabic Proficiency.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of rotating machinery design, operation, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of condition monitoring tools and analysis techniques.
- Good awareness in Safety Operations, Risk Assessment, and Best Practice Engineering.

- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions; prepare clear and concise records, reports and other written materials.
