Closing date for application: 09 January 2026 Start Date : end of January 2026 Rotation: 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off The Team Leader’s primary role is to serve as a TL.
In addition to this role, the TL will be required to act as the functional link between the APT’s and the Operational Management.
He will ensure that the communication of operational, administrative and welfare matters are passed upwards and downwards in a timely and professional manner.
The TL will further ensure that operations and training minimum standards are maintained and take an active role in the administrative oversight of the IN workforce.
The TL will take an active role in implementing project SOP’s and ensuring the highest possible standards are maintained across the APT’s.
He will lead by example demonstrating high levels of leadership, command and control, and quality assurance.

Provide daily supervision of APT’s Provide management oversight of all APT mission planning Produce and conduct weekly training programs in accordance with project training directives Provide management oversight of APT training and record keeping Conduct Risk Assessments, Route and Venue recce’s Ensure APT standards are maintained at the highest possible levels, including client etiquette and protocol Mentor and support APT members in all aspects of their roles and responsibilities Actively monitor APT performance, identifying and reporting complacency or poor performance to the Operations Manager Report any disciplinary issues to the Operations Manager and assist in investigations where required  Promote the importance of equipment care and ensure the implementation of the company's EC policy  Maintain current and thorough knowledge of the project SOP’s Monitor HSE performance across the APT’s ensuring safe conduct of duties, reporting all near misses, unsafe acts, and incidents to the project HSE representative Ensure management directives are accurately communicated to APT’s within their respective groups  Act as the first line of management for all issues within their groups, engaging higher management where necessary Demonstrate tact, diplomacy and maturity in all aspects of personnel management, maintaining motivation and morale Knowledge and experience Essential Minimum 4 years’ Military experience.
Minimum 2 years’ commercial experience in Iraq working for an MOI registered PSC.
Experience working with and managing expatriates and local nationals.
Preferred Attendance of an internationally regarded Non-Commissioned Officer course, such as the British Army Platoon Sergeants Battle Course, is desirable.
L3 International Award in Delivering Training (AET, CET or equivalent) A minimum of three years of responsible leadership experiences in management or supervisory positions Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and security risk assessments Qualifications and specialist skills SIA License (Frontline Close Protection) Close Protection Qualified (Level 3) FREC/FPOSi)I/FPOS medical qualification HECPO qualified preferable
