Real Estate Development Platform

A leading real estate development platform in the region is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial strategy, governance, and capital structuring during the establishment and growth phase of a large-scale development business.

The CFO will play a critical role in safeguarding the company’s financial integrity, liquidity, and funding capacity while supporting disciplined investment decisions and sustainable growth.

Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions of the organization, including accounting, financial planning, treasury, financing, and financial controls.

The role requires strong leadership in managing financial risk, evaluating investment decisions, and supporting the execution of large-scale real estate development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all core finance functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, financing, insurance, tax coordination, and financial reporting.
• Evaluate and challenge business cases, development feasibility models, cost plans, pricing assumptions, and cash-flow projections prior to investment commitments.
• Oversee collections strategy, receivables management, and cash conversion cycles.
• Ensure compliance with financial covenants, banking requirements, and funding conditions.
• Develop and manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investment partners.
• Lead capital structuring and financing strategies for development projects and corporate expansion.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls, payment procedures, reconciliations, and financial systems.
• Support executive decision-making through accurate and timely financial insights.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in finance, preferably within real estate development, infrastructure, or large capital projects
• Strong experience in project finance, development feasibility modeling, and capital structuring
• Proven track record in managing treasury operations, banking relationships, and financing arrangements
• Experience working within complex, multi-phase development environments
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are highly preferred
