Job Description

1.0 Maintenance activity


1.1 Review all activities of maintenance dept.

1.2 Review weekly preventative maintenance

1.3 Review Routine preventive maintenance (Off line and intermittently operated equipments)

1.4 Routine periodical overhauling of miscellaneous removed parts from the equipments

· Identify the parts to be overhauled

· Procurement of necessary spare parts

· Preparation of schedule and execution.

1.5 Semi-annual and Annual Maintenance of equipments

· Identify the jobs to be performed

· Assist Maintenance Engineers to draw the plan for the semi and annual maintenance programmes.

· Procurement of necessary spare parts

1.6 Preparation of schedule and execution major overhauling of equipments

· Review the ageing and performance of the equipments

· Identify the jobs to be performed

· Estimation of spare parts cost, manpower and duration

· Getting approval from the management

· Procurement of necessary spare parts

· Preparation of schedule and execution.

1.7 Follow up of service contracts:

1.8 Organizing repair jobs at outside workshops

1.9 Periodical maintenance of building (Roof cleaning, lights, telephone and water system).

1.10 Periodical maintenance of all company vehicles

2.0 Spare parts management

2.1 To identify the parts required, getting all the ordering information and ordering

2.2 Support procurement department in identifying supplier (local and overseas)

2.3 Monitoring spare parts stock and follow up with stores to update the stock level

2.4 Periodical review of stock level and amend stock quantity and reorder levels

2.5 Monitoring consumption of spare parts
