Job Description
- Technical background preferably graduated as Hydraulic Technician with Dealership experience.
- Should be trade tested with at least 5 years of experience in Crane Installation on various boom trucks, troubleshooting and repairing of Vehicle mounted various cranes
- Trouble shooting of Hydraulic, Mechanical and Electrical defect on various cranes such as Manlifts, Tail lifts, Folding boom crane, Stiff boom cranes, Knuckle boom cranes
- Knowledge in new crane installation, troubleshooting and maintenance requirements of franchises would be desirable (DongYang, Sany Palfinger, Palfinger)
- Strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical capabilities
- Experience in maintenance of Hydraulic system, Hydraulic Components and related accessories
- Basic knowledge on sub- frame fabrication as per OEM drawings
- Experience in Crane operation, perform load tests upon repair / installation of cranes
- Experience in hook block inspection, sheaves repair, wire rope inspection, replacement of defective safety electrical components such as limit switches, proximity sensors, emergency switches and contactors
- Familiar with hydraulic, electrical circuits and can able to read, understand and identify circuits
- Familiar with solenoid operated hydraulic control valves and its operation
- Should be able to communicate in written & spoken English, Arabic desirable but not necessary.
- Ability to work as part of a team and work unsupervised when necessary.
- Knowledge of completing internal documentation and manufacturer documentation related to assigned tasks
- Must be prepared to take part in manufacturers training programs.
- Have a current driving license in country of origin and be prepared to obtain driving license in Qatar as soon as possible.
Certifications
- Preference for manufacturer qualifications that includes UD trucks, Bobcat, Sany, Palfinger and DY Cranes.
