Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Erbil Governorate, Iraq. The Accountant will oversee financial transactions, prepare and maintain financial statements, ensure compliance with local regulations, and analyze financial data for reporting purposes. Responsibilities include processing invoices, tracking payments, preparing budgets, conducting financial audits, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial decision-making to support the organization’s objectives.
Qualifications Accounting and financial management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost analysis Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial tools Knowledge of local and international tax regulations and compliance standards Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills Effective communication and organizational skills Experience with financial auditing and reconciliation processes Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus Prior experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
