Establish and foster a sustainable culture of innovative pedagogy at AUK that is informed by best practices. Devise a campaign to develop and disseminate the mission of the CELT and advertise the CELT. Create a network/team of leaders and subject experts that can address a variety of developmental pedagogical needs across faculty, program, and institutional levels. Support and facilitate faculty collaboration within and across departments and disciplines at AUK. Develop and execute strategic, creative, and innovative approaches that aim to add value to learning and teaching at AUK. Develop and implement the development of a Certificate Program in Innovative Pedagogy for the benefit of faculty at universities and teachers within K-12. Foster greater alignment and/or relationships between AUK curriculum offerings/teaching approaches, student enrollment, achievement of student outcomes, student retention and employer needs. Facilitate training, development, and support of AUK faculty to address gaps between AUK curriculum offerings/teaching approaches, achievement of student outcomes, student retention and employer needs. Enhance the pedagogical resources available for AUK faculty. Provide support to IEP and academic programs in the development and implementation of data-driven assessments to ensure teaching and learning meet international standards for quality.
Qualification And Experience
Minimum master's degree in education, instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field. Ph. D. Is preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in higher education with a focus on teaching and learning, curriculum development, and faculty development. experience in higher education with a focus on teaching and learning, curriculum development, and faculty development. Proven leadership skills in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in teaching and learning. Experience in leading and managing teams of educators or instructional designers. Experience as an instructional faculty member in higher education. Strong understanding of pedagogical best practices and the ability to apply innovative and evidence-based teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with faculty, administrators, and other stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, campaigns, or programs.
