The Business Development Manager plays a key role in identifying, developing, and expanding business opportunities for our pharmaceutical distribution company. This position is responsible for building strategic partnerships, expanding our supplier base, and driving revenue growth.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers & opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and develop new business relationships.
- Develop business plans & strategies to achieve the organization’s objectives.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders, developing long-term collaboration.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and commercial terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Presentation: Create and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our products and services.
- Leading & managing new projects & initiatives.
- Reporting and Metrics: Maintain accurate reports on business development activities and performance metrics.

- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in business development or senior sales position in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as required.
