Job Purpose:

Responsible for the development and maintenance of technical engineering audit programs and conduct internal technical engineering audit assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and focus on key business risks to the organization by applying a broad “risk lens” to the business's construction initiatives.


• Assess and ensure that all business risks areas and management's feedback are included in the audit assignment and determine plan for the fieldwork.


• Ensure that the organization's system of internal controls is designed and operating effectively over construction projects.


• Ability to advise with leading practices and practical solutions for remediation.


• Ensure completion of complex audits within departmental and professional standards in established timeframes.


• Plan, direct, execute and finalize the audit engagements.


• Create audit checklist with duration and frequency of audit for each item in site.


• Review that site is performing appropriately and aligning with the awarded contract, and that projects under construction are on track as per the agreed timeline, quality, and budget.


• Review variations on site to determine percentage of deviation from original contract.


• Recommend site internal control system by ensuring that all parties are performing requested tasks and that the project plan is being followed correctly.


• Monitor the HSE Aspects and safety of people and ensure that all safety measures are respected in all aspects on site and report all incidents on site, suggesting recommendations to avoid such incidents.


• Identify opportunities for enhancements leading to a more effective and efficient execution of construction activities through data analytics and digital solutions.

• Knowledge in real-estate development engineering industry policies & procedures, and laws & regulations
