· Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
· Conduct periodic audits to identify and address potential issues.
· Prepare the annual department strategy and goals by the vision, mission, and strategy of Al-Ressom.
· Prepare the annual plan and budget for the department and approve it by the CFO.
· Review and monitor compliance with the policies and procedures of the accounting department.
· Convoy leading practices and developments in accounting and ensure that measures are taken to ensure the quality of management performance and effectiveness.
· Develop and implement accounting department goals and objectives.
· Communicate and discuss the department’s guidelines and procedures with department staff and ensure responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities are defined and understood.
· Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to facilitate the completion of annual audit and tax fillings.
· Any other duties assigned by the CFO.
