Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring supply chain procurement such as inventory management, ordering and packaging, supplier management, and other related processes. Must have the competency to work on multiple tasks and deliver them on time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse team for delivery timetable
  • Build and maintain good relationships with existing vendors and find new ones
  • Serve as the primary contact for procurement-related customer inquiries and needs.
  • Provide updates, gather feedback, and facilitate effective communication between procurement and customers.
  • Address and resolve procurement issues and complaints, ensuring timely solutions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) concerning procurement and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with other departments to ensure alignment and continuous improvement of procurement activities.
  • Respond swiftly to customer inquiries and issues, demonstrating a commitment to addressing their needs.
  • Tailor procurement and supply chain solutions to meet specific customer needs, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Ensure reliable and efficient order fulfillment and issue resolution to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to identify and solve supply chain challenges.
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions to ensure continuous and reliable service

Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in procurement and inventory in the oil and gas industry.
  • Applicants must possess relevant experience and background in the oil and gas industry
  • Applications lacking this qualification will not be considered.
  • Strong understanding of legal and international requirements for purchasing and supplying goods.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of technical and commercial negotiations.
  • Sound and proven management skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and reporting skills in English and Arabic.
  • Proactive, problem-solving, and result-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Strong corporate competencies in ethics, values, and organizational awareness
  • High skills in sharing knowledge and responding properly to ideas, interests, and concerns of others
