· Applying and following the client's contractual QHSE obligations, PSGS’s QHSE policy and procedures.
- Maintaining the integrity of the ISO Management Documentation System and standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, & ISO 45000.
- Managing the entire staff assigned to his location. Assisting the Reporting Manager with regard to personnel management, hygiene, the observance of quality standards
- Ensuring the application and tracking of QHSE procedures, supervising these and improving them regularly
- Establishing and monitoring regular contact with the client for the food catering services, in order to satisfy all of his needs within contractual limits
- Quickly able to respond to any possible complaints
- Ensure varied menus and the diversity and quality of the products offered. Working with the executive chef to draw up attractive menus, which are well-balanced and original, seeking at all times to satisfy the client
- Actively and visibly managing the behavior and performance of staff during serving hours, in addition to the presentation of the food and the observance of QSHE standards during the period of service
- Checking the presence and punctuality of staff to ensure that high-quality meals are served rapidly at the indicated times
- Ensuring that the staff under his control are fully familiar with their work, and receive the suitable and necessary training in order to be able to improve the quality of their work
- Ensuring that the staff observes irreproachable levels of hygiene and wear the uniform required by the company, with this uniform being in an impeccable condition.
- Assisting the Store Keeper with the management of stock and orders, in addition to the verification and storage of the products delivered to the assigned areas of the contract
- Submitting a daily operations report to the Reporting Manager
- Taking immediate measures in the event of an accident, fire, theft, loss or damage occurring, or in the case of unacceptable deliveries
- Displaying excellent social skills, along with a willingness to listen to the needs and wishes of the client
- Responsible for staff accommodation and welfare at camp
- Implies Health and Safety measures including Accident prevention policies and procedures
- Organizing duty rosters and cleaning schedules and ensures that it is followed and maintained
- Conduct frequent inspection in the designated areas to check for adherence to standards, sanitation/litter issues, equipment problems and safety issues
- Constantly available to his Staff to assist in any issues that may occur
- Act as a food safety team member
- Performing other duties as directed
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree with a postgraduate qualification in Food and Beverage Service Management or Hotel Industry management
- Minimum of 7 years experience in management capacity within a 4 to 5-star establishment
- Should be familiar with Occupational Safety & Health Regulations (OSHA), ISO, and implementation of HSE programs.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, personal appearance and food and beverage service and food production knowledge. Should be able to manage employees in the concerned environment by self
- Must have a good computer knowledge and can handle all administration jobs.
- Must speak, Read & write English, Arabic essential
- Remote site life support service experience is an essential
