Administer customer operations plans and processes to deliver efficient logistics processes and results in the supply chain of a specific client using multimodal means of transportation and provide support to sales team in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

Road Freight Specialist
- Administer customer operations plans and processes to deliver efficient logistics processes
- Receive, deliver and update orders via the system for assigned orders
- Perform shipping verification, pricing verification and invoice verification as well as generating and distributing customer reports
- Work on exceptions/ issues assigned by other functions or directly from customer and report back on related actions
- Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records, retrieve stored information, place/ update orders, input customer feedback and respond to enquiries such as inventory levels/delivery schedules
- Support sales team and answer queries from the sales team such as quotation, exception deal
management, historical account overview, billing corrections, etc. - Respond to customer enquiries and understand customer requirements
- Interact with customer service, warehouse clerks, inbound/outbound dispatcher and cartage driver to resolve issues, ensure service quality and timelines
- Establish customer contact, seek upselling opportunities and follow up on common problems
- Work in line with operating standards and procedures to provide superior customer service
- Resolve recurring issues and suggest enhancements related to customer operations work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency

- 2 year’s of experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
