Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for the registration and counselling of returnees under the Reintegration Programme in Iraq.
He/she registers participants as “returnees” attending programmes implemented by the RPI.
Furthermore, he/she assists in monitoring such participants, especially returnees and local job seekers.
The job holder reports to the Head of the RPI.
He/she cooperates closely with all personnel of the RPI team, personnel of the training team and personnel working at the reception of the ETTC.
Responsibilities
· Registration of participants attending programmes implemented by the RPI, especially returnees and local job seekers.
· Assess returnees through detailed conversations, interviews, and observations to determine the plan
· Counselling of participants attending programmes implemented by the RPI.
· Placement of participants attending programmes implemented by RPI.
· Provides liaison to companies and business establishments in order to identify job opportunities.
· Assists in monitoring of participants, especially returnees and local job seekers.
· Supports the implementation of an internal quality management system.
· Providing counselling face to face, over the telephone, or online
· Assists in the preparation of reports as required by ETTC management.
· Participates in meetings, seminars, workshops and any other related issues.
· Regularly discuss the business plan with returnees to identify faults or room for improvement.
· Translation documents.
· Observes data privacy protection rules.
· Keeping confidential records
· Providing relevant information or resources specific to the returnee's needs.
· Maintaining good working relationships with support networks, government resources, and community resources
· Building a relationship of trust and respect with returnees
· Performs other related or additional duties as it is necessary and assigned by the managing directorate, or the Head of RPI.
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. social science, economics business administration) with at least 2 years of working experience in a related subject area.
Good communicative & interpersonal skills, counselling skills as well as ability to work independently and in a team.
Proficiency in communicating (written and spoken) in Arabic and English language; and good computer skills (MS Word, MS-Excel, E-Mail and Internet Browser software) are required.
