Summary:
KBR is seeking an experienced Field Information and Management Engineer to support the Majnoon Project in Basra, Iraq. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and practical experience in data and document management, implementation, and development of processes, as well as the ability to manage schedules effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the project information standard is in place, data generation methods and procedures for the project, subsequently coordinate tasks and processes with all relevant project stakeholders.
- Assist in the facilitation of existing data standards in the project.
- Review engineering deliverables, such as drawings and datasheets, to identify any deviations from the asset data framework.
- Review project deliverables and perform data validation checks, develop reports on data integrity, quality, and completeness.
- Knowledge of SharePoint, ShareCat, CIS.
- Implement and maintain SharePoint and CIS solutions to meet project needs.
- Ensure data integrity and security within SharePoint environments.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Manage and coordinate a complete and timely project close-out, data handover.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Proactive in proposing improvements / developments of systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree with Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Information Management with a focus on data and document management.
- Knowledge of asset data (Class Library) and industry standard data handover specifications (e.g. CFIHOS).
- Strong knowledge of methods for data-centric project execution (Classification and Categorization).
- Works effectively on multiple activities, setting priority levels and project delivery standards.
- Knowledge and experience with Information Management computing systems, management processes and control procedures.
- Proven expertise in SharePoint migration, implementation, and development.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working on large-scale projects, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
