The Product Quality Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. This position involves collaborating with product managers and developers to understand project requirements, developing detailed test plans and cases, and conducting thorough manual testing. The officer will also contribute to improving QA methodologies and processes, provide feedback to enhance product quality, and ensure timely resolution of customer-reported issues. - Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to gain a deep understanding of project requirements and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
- Conduct thorough manual testing to identify and document defects, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
- Actively contributes to the enhancement of our QA processes and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to facilitate the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Provide valuable feedback to developers and stakeholders to enhance product quality and user experience.
- Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to managers and product developers.
- Review new products, SRS, BRD, and other technical documents to create detailed test cases, ensuring the new product meets all requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of product changes to ensure they are properly implemented in all future updates.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues promptly.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance to continuously improve our QA processes.
