As they continue to expand, they require a visionary and talented Creative Director to shape and elevate the brand identity and drive traffic to their social media platforms and also drive conversions.

 

Job Overview:

As the Creative Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s aesthetic, style, and creative vision. You will need to be able to create visually compelling content that connect with people regarding beauty and company offered products. Therefore, you will be leading a graphic designer, Social media & Community Manager, and videography. Your leadership will ensure that our Client brand stays innovative, inspiring, and consistent, contributing directly to the Brand growth and success. Also relatable to the target market for Iraq.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development/Visual Story Telling

  • Brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute creative ideas for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand vision.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative strategies that align with business objectives and target customer segments.
  • Trend Awareness – Stay up to date with the latest beauty trends, styles, and social media developments, allowing them to create relevant and timely content.
  • Focus on User generated Content.

Content Strategy

  • Experience in developing and implementing a good content strategy that includes planning, scheduling and optimizing posts for maximum engagement and reach.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a dynamic team of graphic designer, videographer and other creative professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovative thinking while maintaining high performance and output standards. Working to deadlines.

Visual Direction

  • Set and enforce visual guidelines for all creative output across digital and print platforms, ensuring consistency in branding, design, and messaging.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging visual assets for eCommerce, social media, advertising, ensuring that they are building a community for their BRAND.

Project Management

  • Lead the creative process from concept to execution, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure that creative projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Also knowing how to analyze social media metrics to assess the performance of campaigns and posts, using data to refine and improve future strategies.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to align creative initiatives with business goals.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain open lines of communication throughout the creative process.

Trend Analysis and Innovation

  • Stay on top of industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to keep the Client’s creative output fresh, relevant, and competitive.
  • Apply insights from data and market research to inform creative decisions.

Client Relations

  • If applicable, interact with clients or key stakeholders to understand their needs, present creative ideas, and incorporate their feedback.

Quality Control

  • Review and approve final designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality before distribution or publication.
  • Ensure that all creative work reflects the Client’s commitment to excellence and resonates with their audience.

Mentorship and Development

  • Provide ongoing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for junior team members.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous learning within the creative team.

 

Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Creativity: A proven ability to generate innovative and engaging ideas that push the boundaries of design and aesthetics.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop creative talent.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: A strategic thinker with the ability to address challenges and find creative solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) and a solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital marketing.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a senior creative role, preferably in the cosmetics, fashion, or eCommerce industry. Proven track record of leading creative teams and driving brand success.
  • Passion for Beauty & Fashion: A deep understanding of the beauty and fashion industry trends and consumer behavior, with a passion for innovative design.
