·   Reporting to the maintenance manager and is responsible for communicating and enforcing job site expectations

·   Supervising the activities of the assigned mechanical maintenance crew in the field, give the technical direction and guidance for safe trouble shooting and repair jobs

·   Supervising maintenance work activities to ensure a safe and efficient execution that optimizes plant equipment performance and availability

·   Coordinating with maintenance planner to prioritize, schedule and assign jobs to the subordinates, ensure daily early preparation for all job requirements

·   Establishing and enforce expectations related to safety, procedure compliance, corrective actions and appropriate work behaviors

·   Performing job site observations to ensure safety and quality standards are being met.

·   Making decisions on routine supervisory issues, keeps management informed of maintenance issues, organizes plans, controls and executes goals and objectives as directed by management

·   Establishing and Support the project team by providing all the mechanical requirements and requests for possible changes which will lead to safe and accessible job areas

·   Leading the mechanical maintenance crew during the commissioning and start up

·   Training staffs and ensure their competency for the required job

·   Performing other duties as directed

Skills

·        Holds a Diploma or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering from recognize Institution or With 7 years’ work experience in Mechanical Maintenance

·        Must be able to advise Quality Manager of conditions requiring corrective actions.

·        Must implement and maintain regulatory compliance and be able to record and submit any documentation required as per standards, policies and procedures.

·        The incumbent will exercise considerable judgment in planning, maintaining records and training activities within the ISO system

·        Must be fluent in English. Arabic added value
