Preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
• Analysing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
• Establishing tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts
• Developing, maintaining, and analysing budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
• Following day-to-day instructions issued by Senior Accountant / Finance Manager.
• Co-ordinating with accountants to eliminate errors and omissions that cause in payment discrepancy
• Maintaining confidentiality on payment and Company information
• Performing other duties as directed
Skills
Degree in Accountancy and 2 years post qualification experience in a similar capacity with a proven track record
• Implementing accounting procedures, reporting systems, budgetary controls and monitoring the same
• Strong communicational and interpersonal skills and should be good motivator who can guide the staff to meet the dead lines
• Fair knowledge in ISO procedures
• Thorough knowledge in computing
